Our Occupational Health and Safety Policy, adopted by T.C. Istanbul Kültür University, is to ensure an optimum safety, healthy working environment and environment for our employees, service providers and students by taking corrective and preventive measures and eliminating potential hazards.
İKÜ Management acts with the belief that all occupational accidents and diseases are preventable and constantly improves itself.
In this direction;
- Ensuring continuous improvement by complying with national and international laws and conditions related to occupational health and safety,
- Identifying hazards, identifying risks and conducting risk analyzes, and continuing control and prevention practices,
- Identifying risks that may cause occupational disease, accidents and incidents and taking security measures,
- Ensure that all our employees, subcontractors and students comply with the OHS rules we have established,
- Ensuring an increase in worker health and work efficiency by minimizing work and labor losses that may occur due to work accidents and occupational diseases,
- Protecting the physical and mental health of employees against ergonomic and psychosocial hazards in work environment and preventing occupational diseases,
-Preparing emergency plans in line with emergency definitions and ensuring that employees are prepared for emergencies by conducting first aid, fire, search and rescue exercises,
- Ensuring the safety of machinery and equipment in line with occupational health and safety,
- To ensure that employees, subcontractors, students and visitors receive health and safety measures in accordance with OHS requirements and ensure the use of personal protective equipment,
- Providing the necessary training and information in line with the occupational health and safety laws and regulations of our employees,
- Providing continuous information and communication in order to adopt security culture,
- Continuously reviewing and improving the studies,
- In this respect, we undertake that we will continue our OHS activities continuously in order to provide a healthy and safe working environment in all our activities.
