Occupational Health and Safety at IKU

T. C. Istanbul Kültür University Occupational Health and Safety Department was established in order to fulfill and follow the requirements of university campuses in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331.

By the Department of Occupational Health and safety at our university,

  • Carrying out and monitoring periodic health examinations of the employees,
  • Preparing and implementing an annual plan for Occupational Health and Safety,
  • Risk Analysis of the work environment,
  • Preparing the Emergency Action Plan for the work environment
  • Occupational Health and Safety training for employees,
  • Observing the work environment and notifying the employer of the detected defects and monitoring them,
  • Giving opinions when necessary in the regulations of the working environment,
  • Ensuring periodic maintenance, control and measurements of the equipment and devices in the working environment in accordance with the regulations,
  • To make evaluations about work accidents, occupational diseases diagnoses and to make necessary notifications. To prepare the necessary corrective / preventive action plans in this regard and to follow the implementation,
  • To cooperate with other departments in order to carry out occupational health and safety activities effectively,
  • Creating, archiving the documentation of the above-mentioned processes,
  • Work to be carried out in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 and related regulations.
